Esta carpeta guarda el programa del nodo y la especificación de la cadena. No hace falta bajarlos a mano: el instalador los descarga y comprueba su huella sha256 por ti, y se detiene si algo no cuadra. Se listan aquí porque una descarga que no puedes verificar por tu cuenta no es tuya del todo.
This folder holds the node program and the chain specification. You do not need to fetch them by hand: the installer downloads them and checks their sha256 fingerprint for you, and stops if anything does not match. They are listed here because a download you cannot verify yourself is not quite yours.

Si lo que sale no es idéntico a la huella de arriba, no lo ejecutes. Y no te fíes de una sola fuente: compara la huella con la del instalador y con la que anuncia un nodo que ya esté en la red. Hoy todo esto se sirve desde una sola máquina, y estamos trabajando en un segundo sitio del que bajarlo.
If what you get is not identical to the fingerprint above, do not run it. And do not trust a single source: compare the fingerprint with the one in the installer and with what a node already on the network announces. Today all of this is served from one machine, and we are working on a second place to download it from.
